In accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("KVK Law"), your personal data, including any information that identifies or may identify you, as well as sensitive personal data, may be processed by MICE Memory ("DATA CONTROLLER").

The processing of personal data refers to any operation performed on your personal data, such as collection, recording, storage, maintenance, alteration, rearrangement, disclosure, transfer, classification, or restriction of use.

The protection of your personal data is of utmost importance to us. We would like to inform you that we will take all necessary precautions and continue to be transparent in this matter.

  1. Purpose of Processing Personal Data and Transfer of Personal Data The personal data we collect will be processed in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 and relevant regulations for the following purposes: conducting franchise discussions, regional operations, signing contracts, collecting documents such as identity copies, trade registry newspaper, tax certificate, signature circular, valuable documents, reporting and statistics, managing business processes, ensuring the legal and commercial security of those with whom we have business relations, resolving student complaints effectively, carrying out financial and accounting operations, fulfilling notification obligations to relevant/authorized public institutions (such as Courts, Ministry of National Education, etc.), implementing Human Resources policies, managing information communication and physical security processes, and fulfilling legal obligations regarding our lawyers, consultants, authorized public institutions, financial institutions for risk assessment, independent audit firms, local/international organizations that assist in our business processes, all in accordance with legal bases, regulations, and your consent.

  2. Collection of Personal Data Your personal data is collected by the DATA CONTROLLER through various channels and based on different legal reasons and internal operations.

  3. Security of Personal Data In accordance with Article 12 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698, to ensure the security of your personal data, the following measures are implemented by our headquarters:

    • Preventing the unlawful processing of personal data,
    • Preventing unlawful access to personal data,
    • Ensuring the safe storage of personal data. Necessary technical and administrative measures are taken to provide the required security level.
  4. Rights of Data Subjects As a data subject, you have the right to:

    a) Learn whether your personal data has been processed,

    b) Request information about your processed personal data,

    c) Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose,

    d) Know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred, either domestically or internationally,

    e) Request the correction of any incomplete or inaccurate personal data,

    f) Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions set forth in Article 7 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data,

    g) Request the notification of the corrections, deletions, or destructions made to your personal data to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,

    h) Object to the processing of your personal data solely through automated systems, resulting in an unfavorable consequence for you,

    ı) Request compensation for any damages you may have suffered as a result of unlawful processing of your personal data.

To exercise your rights, you need to submit your request in writing, along with the necessary documents to identify your identity, to the DATA CONTROLLER.
